Virtual Courses at Vale House Kitchen

Join us for a Vale House Kitchen class from the comfort of your own home!
We’re delighted to be offering live online classes via Zoom, direct from our kitchen to yours, and packed with everything you’d expect from the Vale House experience. Classes are limited to 12 people to make sure that you can chat and ask questions just like you would in person, and we’ve carefully fine-tuned our set-up to make sure that you get the best seat in the house for our demonstrations.
We started offering ‘virtual’ courses back in the first lockdown, and they were so popular we knew we had to make them a regular feature! We’ve been overwhelmed with positive feedback – here are just a few recent testimonials…
“I’ve done a couple of the Vale House online courses and have to say they’re extremely well done and full of useful hints and tips. The content is suitable for all abilities and I learnt a lot – particularly about curing. Bod is a great presenter, very relaxed and engaging with a real flair for getting people talking. Highly recommend signing up for one (or more!)” – Ian Booth
“I’ve done several of Vale House Kitchen’s online classes during lockdown and they have been fantastic – full of expert information and useful tips. The soda bread and smoked trout pate session was a particular triumph! I have learned such a lot and Bod is always ready to answer any questions that you might have. The set up at VHK is very professional, yet always friendly and accessible. Prior to lockdown I attended classes at VHK in person; the online experience was no less enjoyable or informative!” – Louise Dutton

How does it work?
You’d be forgiven for wondering how a cookery class works over Zoom! But we’ve put a lot of thought into getting it right, and we’re confident from your feedback that we’ve hit the nail on the head. Here’s how it works:
• Once you’ve signed up, we’ll send you a link so that you can access the live class
• We’ll email you an information pack, including recipes, beforehand so that you can be prepared – some of our classes are designed so that you can ‘cook along’ with our expert tutors, and some are based on a demonstration and Q&A format
• You can use the link provided to access the class at a set time, and you’ll be able to ask questions and chat to other participants just as you would in our classroom

Looking for a corporate event with a lockdown twist?
We’ve already run some brilliant virtual events for corporate clients – it’s the perfect replacement for this year’s cancelled Christmas parties! Get the team together over Zoom for a cookalong, and then at the end you can all sit down together to chat and enjoy what you’ve made.
Here’s what Tania Coxon, founder of The Country Girls UK, had to say about a class we ran for their group:
“We joined Bod from Vale House Kitchen for a virtual demonstration on all things game on Saturday during lockdown 2.0. Bod gave all of us a friendly welcome and spoke with such passion and knowledge on game for an hour and a half. The demonstration took place over zoom and was very slick and professional, with Bod’s warmth and easy-going character putting us all at ease straight away. Bod made us feel like there were no stupid questions and discussed and demonstrated his tried and tested techniques to us with great ease. Thank you, Bod, for a fantastic lockdown demonstration!”
We can tailor corporate events to your particular requirements, so get in touch and let us know how we can help you!
