We’ll start the morning with a talk from Martin, digging into all the information you need to know about beekeeping at home and giving you the opportunity to ask all your burning questions. Then we’ll suit up, and go and see the hives! We’ll be in small groups around each hive to make sure that you’re able to get a really close look as Martin opens them up, shows us how they operate and key things to look for. It’s absolutely fascinating stuff so we’ll be sure to allow plenty of time for this bit!
Once we’ve finished outside, we’ll go back to the classroom for fresh bread and Vale House Kitchen honey, and there’ll be more time for us to chat with Martin and ask any further questions. You’ll go home with an information booklet and plenty of inspiration!
