So, join us for a day of foraging under the keen eye of expert forager Adrian Boots!

We’ll spend the morning on a walk through the beautiful countryside surrounding Vale House Kitchen, picking our own ingredients, and learning more from Adrian about landscape features, habitats, associated trees and plants species, and their relationships and seasonality with wild food. It’s a fascinating chance to learn about the history from our ancient hunter gatherer ancestors through to today’s culture including ecology, conservation, safety, rules and regulations.

Returning to Vale House Kitchen for a fantastic seasonal foragers’ lunch, and then spend the afternoon in the classroom turning our freshly-gathered goodies into some delicious recipes.
