Field to Fork Vegetarian Cookery Course
Vale House Kitchen has teamed up with The Community Farm to offer a hands on, practical, field to fork experience where you will harvest seasonal vegetables in the morning and then prepare and cook them with top chef Tim Maddams in the afternoon.
The Community Farm is an organic, non profit farm owned by its members situated a short drive from Vale House Kitchen. We will spend the morning under the guidance of the Community Farmer learning about all aspects of organic and seasonal produce. After picking your very own fresh veg box we will return to Vale House Kitchen for an afternoons cooking. Here Tim aims to unleash your creativity and inspire you to get cooking vegetables seasonally. Tim will show you how to look at vegetables on the basis of their own merit, in contrast to a traditional recipe approach, and help you see these seasonal treats in a new light. You’ll then enjoy a three-course seasonal feast that you’ve helped to prepare.
