Covering a whole variety of skills from baking to preserving, this course is the perfect antidote to the stresses of Christmas – swap the usual mad dash round the shops for a day full of festive fun and create some gorgeous homemade gifts that are sure to win you extra brownie points.
On this edible gifts masterclass, you’ll make your own mincemeat, and use it to fill scrumptious homemade mince pies topped with frangipane – you’ll never want another supermarket mince pie again. You’ll also infuse your own citrus liqueurs, make date chutney and cheese and chutney biscuits (perfect for the cheeseboard), and bake chocolate cookies. You’ll be able to take plenty of your creations home, with a course booklet full of recipes and ideas for packaging them into instant gifts. Lunch is included.
