Covering a whole variety of skills from baking to preserving, this course is the perfect antidote to the stresses of Christmas – swap the usual mad dash round the shops for a day full of festive fun and create some gorgeous homemade gifts that are sure to win you extra brownie points.
On this edible gifts masterclass, you’ll help finish a batch of mincemeat and use it to fill scrumptious homemade mince pies topped with frangipane – you’ll never want another supermarket mince pie again. You’ll also watch a demonstration of citrus liqueurs, ( with a bottle to take home ) make date chutney and cheese and herb biscuits (perfect for the cheeseboard), and bake chocolate cookies. You’ll be able to take home your creations home, with a course booklet full of recipes and ideas for packaging them into instant gifts. Lunch is included.
