- Flavourings and the addition of alcohol
- Potting up safely for a good shelf life
- Lemon curd, preserved lemons and limoncello
Making your own marmalade might seem a little intimidating, but it’s so very worth it – once you’ve tasted homemade you’ll never go back to shop-bought stuff. Pam will take you through the entire process, from shredding and preparing the Seville oranges to safely potting your marmalade, and provide expert advice and handy tips at every stage, as well as explaining how to use different fruits and flavours.
You’ll also learn to make a fabulous lemon curd and how to preserve your own lemons, which make a fantastic addition to loads of different recipes, and at the end of the day Pam will demonstrate how to make your own limoncello too. You’ll work in pairs throughout the day, but if you’re planning to come on your own don’t worry – we’ll be a small friendly group all learning together! You’ll go home with jars of marmalade, curd and preserved lemons, a recipe pack and plenty of inspiration.
