Introduction to Game Shooting

This one day course is aimed to give you a full introduction to Game Shooting. We meet at award winning Shellards Shoot just outside Bath for a few breakfast bites before being given a full gun safety briefing by the shooting instructors. It’s then off to the clay ground for a mornings instruction on clay pigeons before heading back for a light lunch. After lunch we will cover the subjects of driven game shooting, etiquette, tipping and the countryside code and then head off for a couple of game drives where you will have the opportunity to shoot pheasant and other wild game birds. It’s then back to the house for a glass of fizz and chat through what we have learnt during the day. We encourage you to take a few birds home with you for the real field to fork experience.
