Something that we absolutely love and when you make it yourself it seems to be gone in seconds!! It’s really quick and easy – a few people asked for this recipe so here it is…

1 can of chickpeas, drained.
1 clove of garlic
2 large tbsp tahini (or peanut butter)
Juice of a lemon
Good glug of olive oil.


Place the chickpeas, garlic and tahini (I actually prefer crunchy peanut butter as we always seem to have that in the cupboard rather than tahini!!) and blitz into a course paste.

Add a dash of water and blitz again. It should thin a little.

Then add the lemon juice and a good glug of olive oil and blitz for a final time. Give it a taste, I usually add a pinch of good sea salt and give it a stir.

Scoop into a bowl and enjoy with some fresh chopped veg or even better some home made flat breads…. 😀👍😋
