Vale House Kitchen wins Best Cookery School at Food Readers Awards
We are incredibly excited to announce that we won Best Cookery School in Food Magazine Readers Awards earlier this week (February 10th). The awards ceremony was held at Darts Farm in Devon where companies gathered to see who would pick up one of the most highly acclaimed food awards in the South West.
A rustic feast of Lyme Bay crab, local roast sirloin with all the trimmings and an amazing apple crumble was enjoyed by all the guests on the night, which was hosted by one of Salt Media’s founding directors and editor of food magazine, Jo Rees, along with Michael Dart of Darts Farm. The meal was accompanied by wine and beer matches from Regency Wines and Sharp’s Brewery, with an aperitif from Wicked Wolf Gin and Luscombe tonic.
The voters are readers of food magazine and this year saw thousands of individual votes cast across the 12 categories. Check out the list of winners here.
We are so proud to have won this coveted award, and want to thank all our amazing tutors, the people who help out behind the scenes and of course all of our guests who voted for us and attend our unique courses. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to 2020!!
